Symptoms of Liver Fire:
1. Dry mouth and bitter taste: Excessive internal heat and dampness in the spleen and stomach lead to a bitter taste and dry mouth.
2. Emotional disturbances: Manifested as irritability, quick temper, and significant mood swings.
3. Headache and dizziness: Liver fire rising to the head and face may cause headache and dizziness.
4. Eye problems: Eye redness, dry eyes, blurred vision, and other eye-related issues may be associated with liver fire.
Symptoms of Heart Fire:
1. Excess Fire: Restlessness, irritability, dry mouth and thirst, swollen and painful gums, mouth and tongue ulcers, short and dark urine.
2. Deficient Fire: Red tongue with little coating, dry mouth and throat, rapid and fine pulse, irritability, palpitations, warm palms and soles, tidal fever with night sweats, insomnia, and vivid dreams.
Although these two syndromes differ somewhat, both belong to the category of "fire" syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine and are closely related to emotions, diet, and lifestyle habits. Improvement requires appropriate adjustments in these areas.
