2. Facial flushing: Patients may experience a sensation of facial heat and feel hot in the face, palms, and soles.
3. Duration: A hot flash can last from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
Treatment options for hot flashes:
1. Dietary regulation: Choose foods that nourish yin and clear heat, such as wolfberry (Lycium barbarum), lily bulbs, and white fungus, which may help alleviate hot flashes.
2. Exercise: Engage in appropriate physical activities, such as walking, Tai Chi, or yoga, to promote circulation of qi and blood.
