To address chronic renal failure, the following measures can be taken: 1. Medication therapy: Use sodium bicarbonate to regulate metabolic acidosis, thiazide diuretics to improve trace element imbalances, and calcium channel blockers or angiotensin agents to manage complications such as hyperkalemia. Oral phosphate binders such as calcium carbonate or calcium citrate may also be administered. 2. Surgical treatment: If conditions permit, kidney transplantation may be considered; however, the scarcity of donor kidneys should be taken into account. 3. Dialysis therapy: Includes hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, effectively removing toxins from the body and preventing disease recurrence. 4. Regular examinations: Undergo routine urine tests, blood tests, imaging scans, and kidney function assessments at least twice a year to monitor disease progression. 5. Lifestyle modifications: Maintain a low-salt, low-protein diet (primarily high-quality animal protein), limit intake of high-potassium foods, and consume more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins. Engage in appropriate aerobic exercises such as walking or jogging, and avoid strenuous activity and excessive fatigue.
