The main causes of prolonged heat rash are as follows:
1. Environmental factors: Prolonged exposure to high temperature, stuffy, or humid environments leads to increased sweat production and reduced evaporation, causing sweat ducts to become blocked and resulting in heat rash. This is the most common causative factor.
2. Abnormal sweat duct development: In some individuals, sweat ducts may be narrower or underdeveloped. When sweat production increases, it can accumulate within the ducts and渗入 (seep into) surrounding tissues, triggering heat rash.
3. Disease-related factors: Conditions such as hyperhidrosis or staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome can cause abnormal increases in sweat production, thereby increasing the risk of developing heat rash.
