In warm, humid environments, such as those with temperatures ranging between 15-31°C and high humidity, scabies mites can survive for longer periods, possibly up to 1 to 7 days, and may even continue to reproduce and lay eggs during this time. If the environment is unfavorable to the mites, such as in high temperatures exceeding 50°C, their survival time is significantly reduced, typically dying within about 10 minutes.
