What are the manifestations during the recovery phase of allergic dermatitis?
Disease description:
I had an allergic reaction some time ago, with a lot of red rashes appearing on my body. I feel much better now and would like to learn about what the recovery phase of allergic dermatitis looks like.
The manifestations during the recovery stage of allergic dermatitis mainly include:
1. **Relief of itching**: As the allergic reaction gradually subsides, patients will noticeably experience a reduction or disappearance of itching, which is the primary sign of the recovery phase.
2. **Reduction of redness and swelling**: The skin redness and swelling gradually diminish, returning to a normal color; vascular permeability decreases and local tissue edema alleviates.
3. **Resolution of rash**: The rash gradually fades, with a reduction in the size and number of plaques, and the skin surface gradually regains its smoothness.
4. **Improvement of skin dryness**: Skin dryness commonly observed during the disease episode improves, with gradual restoration of skin moisture and reduced dry sensation.
5. **Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation**: Some patients may develop mild pigmentation during the recovery phase, caused by increased melanin synthesis due to inflammation. However, this pigmentation typically fades gradually over time.
