For the treatment of bee stings, first check for and remove any stinger that might remain in the skin. Then, choose appropriate medications according to symptoms. Generally, local redness, swelling, and pain may occur after a bee sting. Under a doctor's guidance, antiallergic medications (such as loratadine tablets), corticosteroids (such as dexamethasone tablets), and topical medications (such as compound acetic acid dexamethasone cream, erythromycin ointment) can be used. These medications help relieve allergic reactions, reduce inflammation and swelling, alleviate pain, and prevent infection. Additionally, if significant itching occurs, antipruritic agents such as calamine lotion can be used. If secondary infection develops after the sting, antibiotic medications such as mupirocin ointment can be used following medical advice. All medications mentioned above should be used strictly according to medical instructions; self-medication is not recommended. During treatment, avoid consuming irritating foods and keep the affected area clean to promote recovery.
