The symptoms of Ureaplasma urealyticum infection are diverse, mainly including: 1. Urinary system symptoms: such as frequent urination, urgency, dysuria, and urethral burning sensation; increased urethral discharge, which may appear yellow or white; redness and swelling of the external urethral orifice. 2. Reproductive system symptoms: in females, increased and turbid vaginal discharge, vaginal itching and a sensation of pressure or fullness; cervical congestion and edema, which may progress to cervical erosion in severe cases, accompanied by yellowish-white pus-like vaginal discharge. In males, symptoms may include prostatitis, presenting as perineal or inguinal pain and difficulty urinating. 3. Systemic symptoms: some infected individuals may experience nonspecific manifestations such as fever, fatigue, nausea, and vomiting. It is recommended to seek timely medical attention and undergo bacteriological testing to confirm the diagnosis when related symptoms occur.
