What do symptoms of mite allergy look like?
Disease description:
I am 28 years old and have recently developed an allergy to dust mites. I would like to know what the symptoms of a dust mite allergy look like.

Mite allergy symptoms mainly manifest as a series of discomfort reactions affecting the skin and respiratory tract.
Regarding the skin, patients may experience itching, redness, swelling, rashes, and other symptoms. In severe cases, symptoms may also include rough skin, peeling, enlarged pores, increased blackheads, and recurring pimples and acne. Additionally, patients might feel especially itchy skin at night or upon waking in the morning. Concerning the respiratory system, mite allergy often causes symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, coughing, and asthma. These symptoms are particularly noticeable at night and in the morning, possibly related to increased numbers of mites on bedding. For patients with allergic rhinitis, mites could be one of the main causative factors; these symptoms resemble those of a common cold but are difficult to relieve through conventional treatments.
If similar symptoms occur, timely medical consultation is recommended to obtain professional diagnosis and treatment advice. At the same time, maintaining a clean home environment and reducing mite proliferation can help prevent and alleviate symptoms of mite allergy.
