What are the early symptoms of bone cancer?
Disease description:
I feel severe pain and discomfort in my joints and I'm worried that I might have bone cancer. I would like to ask the doctor: What are the early symptoms or signs of bone cancer?

The early symptoms of bone cancer may not be specific, but the following are some possible signs:
1. Persistent bone pain lasting for a prolonged period: typically worsens with activity and may be more noticeable at night.
2. Swelling or a lump around a joint: swelling or an abnormal hard mass may be present in the affected bone area.
3. Fractures: even minor injuries may lead to fractures, which may indicate bone destruction.
4. Other nonspecific symptoms: such as fever, loss of appetite, disturbed sleep, fatigue, and weight loss.
It should be noted that these symptoms can also be caused by other diseases and do not necessarily indicate bone cancer. If any of the above conditions occur, especially persistent bone pain or unusual lumps, prompt medical evaluation is recommended.
