Early signs of bone cancer may include the appearance of a localized mass or varicose veins. As the disease progresses, the mass gradually enlarges, and a palpable, growing lump may be detected at the affected site. Compression from the enlarging mass can readily lead to local varicosities. Additionally, significant pain—sometimes accompanied by tenderness upon palpation—may occur as an early sign. Furthermore, systemic symptoms such as fever, loss of appetite, and weight loss may also manifest in the early stages of bone cancer.
