What causes blisters on the forehead?
Disease description:
Recently, I have developed many small blisters on my forehead. They seem to be highly toxic and significantly affect my appearance. What causes blisters to appear on the forehead?
Blisters on the forehead may be caused by various factors. Causes include:
1. Dyshidrotic eczema: Associated with fungal infections, allergies, or ultraviolet radiation, this condition causes small, pinhead- or grain-sized blisters on areas such as the forehead, palms, and soles, accompanied by itching, stinging, or burning sensations.
2. Herpes zoster: Caused by infection with the varicella-zoster virus, this condition may be triggered by excessive mental stress or mechanical trauma, resulting in localized papulovesicles or blisters accompanied by pain and itching.
3. Eczema: Related to allergies, diet, or environmental factors, acute flare-ups may lead to the appearance of erythema, edema, and blisters on areas such as the forehead, accompanied by itching or desquamation.
4. Excessive sebaceous gland secretion: Influenced by hormonal levels in the body, excessive oil production by the sebaceous glands can block sebaceous ducts, potentially causing localized abscesses and infectious blisters.
5. Herpes simplex: Caused by herpes simplex virus infection, this commonly occurs in individuals with compromised immune function or following skin trauma, presenting as solitary or clustered small blisters accompanied by pain or burning sensations.
