Male Fungal Infection Symptoms
Disease description:
My glans has become very red, and it feels abnormal. The doctor said it's a fungal infection. I would like to know, what are the symptoms of fungal infection in males?
Men may experience a fungal infection called candidiasis, especially through sexual contact with a partner who has this condition. The main symptoms of this infection include:
1. Redness, itching, and mild pain at the head of the penis (coronal sulcus).
2. Possible appearance of white, cheese-like discharge adhering to the penis.
3. Redness or mild burning sensation around the urethral opening, especially during urination.
4. Occasionally, a mild burning sensation or discomfort may be present.
5. In some individuals, especially those with weakened immune systems, the infection may spread, causing rashes or pain in the groin area.
Note that if these symptoms occur, medical attention should be sought promptly.
