Lymphadenitis is a condition in which lymph nodes become inflamed due to infection or other inflammatory diseases. The main symptoms include:

1. Swollen lymph nodes: Usually one or a group of lymph nodes become enlarged and firm, commonly found in the neck, armpits, or groin.

2. Pain and tenderness: The enlarged lymph nodes may be painful, especially upon touch, causing discomfort or significant pain to the patient.

3. Fever: Accompanied by inflammation, patients may experience low or high fever, sometimes with chills.

4. Redness and swelling in the affected area: If the skin near the lymph node is affected, it may become red, swollen, and warm.

If the swollen lymph nodes persist, pain worsens, redness and swelling spread, fever does not subside, or if other severe symptoms such as weight loss and night sweats occur, prompt medical attention should be sought.
