Whether pulmonary nodules can regress naturally depends on the nature and cause of the nodule. 1. Scenarios where natural regression is possible: Some pulmonary nodules caused by inflammation, fungal infection, or viral infection, especially ground-glass nodules, may resolve spontaneously after the inflammation subsides or the individual's immune system improves. For example, certain small inflammatory lesions may be absorbed and disappear following antibiotic treatment or enhanced immunity. 2.
