Flat warts are associated to some extent with weakened immunity. Flat warts are mainly caused by infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), especially subtypes such as HPV 3, 10, and 28. These viruses are primarily transmitted through skin contact, such as direct contact with the skin of an infected person or using personal items of the infected individual. When the body's immunity is weakened, for example, in situations such as low immunity, physical trauma, excessive fatigue, or existing skin infections, one becomes more susceptible to HPV infection and subsequent development of warts. Therefore, enhancing immunity is one of the important measures for preventing flat warts, including appropriate exercise, maintaining a balanced diet, and getting sufficient rest. Please note that although flat warts are related to weakened immunity, they are not entirely caused by it and are also influenced by various other factors.
