Disease description:

I don't know what's growing on me. I noticed it over half a month ago, and it hasn't changed since. There are many small rashes, resembling cauliflower-like growths. I suspect it might be genital warts. Doctor, what are the early symptoms of genital warts?

The early symptoms of genital warts are usually subtle, and many patients may not experience obvious discomfort. The primary early manifestation is the appearance of small, pale red papules at the infected site. These papules may gradually increase in number and merge, forming clustered growths with uneven, moist, and soft surfaces that bleed easily upon contact. In male patients, these lesions commonly occur on the penis, glans, coronal sulcus, foreskin, frenulum, and the perineum. In females, they are most frequently found on the labia majora and minora, vaginal opening, urethral opening, clitoris, perineum, and the perianal area. Additionally, a few patients may experience mild itching, pain during sexual intercourse, or a sensation of a foreign body. As the disease progresses, the papules may gradually enlarge, forming raised growths with cauliflower-like or rooster comb-like appearances, which may be accompanied by ulceration, bleeding, and infection. Since genital warts are sexually transmitted and have a certain incubation period, individuals with a history of unprotected sexual contact or suspected symptoms are advised to seek medical attention promptly.
