What are the symptoms of myocarditis?
Recently, my complexion has been pale, I sweat easily, and my mental state has been very poor; something just didn't seem right. I also experienced restless sleep at night. After a later diagnosis, I was confirmed to have myocarditis and require treatment. What are the symptoms of myocarditis?
Myocarditis refers to an inflammatory disease of the heart muscle. Its symptoms are diverse and may vary from person to person. The main manifestations include:
1. Cardiac symptoms: Patients often experience palpitations, chest tightness, rapid or irregular heartbeat. In severe cases, symptoms such as cardiac enlargement and heart failure may occur.
2. Systemic symptoms: Accompanied by systemic symptoms of viral infection such as fever, fatigue, and muscle pain. Some patients may experience difficulty breathing, pallor, or cyanosis.
3. Other symptoms: Depending on the severity of the condition, serious symptoms such as arrhythmia, syncope, and even shock may also occur.
If myocarditis is suspected or any discomfort arises, prompt medical attention should be sought.
