Disease description:

Today I went to the hospital for a color ultrasound, and the ultrasound report indicated breast hyperplasia. May I ask, what does this indicate?

In a color ultrasound examination report, ultrasound findings for mammary hyperplasia are typically described as follows: increased thickness and enhancement of breast tissue echogenicity, disordered arrangement of glandular structures, thickening of the glandular layer, inhomogeneous echotexture, and possibly a reticular pattern. If nodules are present, the report will clearly indicate the presence of a space-occupying lesion within the glandular layer and describe the nodule's size, shape, and clarity of its boundaries. Mammary hyperplasia is a benign condition associated with endocrine hormone imbalance and, in most cases, does not require specific treatment, especially when there are no obvious clinical symptoms.

It is recommended to maintain a pleasant mood, adjust dietary habits, avoid high-fat, high-calorie foods and those rich in estrogen, and increase consumption of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Additionally, regular follow-ups according to medical advice are advised to monitor breast health.
