The main symptoms of cervical adhesion include the following:
1. Lower abdominal pain: Usually appears about one month after induced abortion or curettage,表现为sudden spasmodic pain in the lower abdomen. The pain can sometimes be severe enough to affect normal gas expulsion and bowel movements, but generally gradually improves within 3-7 days, although it may recur.
2. Menstrual abnormalities: With partial cervical adhesion, menstrual flow may decrease while the cycle remains normal; with complete adhesion, amenorrhea may occur. Additionally, if caused by inflammation, menstrual irregularities, prolonged menstrual periods, and dark menstrual blood may also appear.
3. Abnormal pregnancy: Cervical adhesion may affect pregnancy, leading to infertility or pregnancy failure, such as ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion, preterm birth, and other serious consequences, and may even result in intrauterine fetal demise.
