Symptoms of intermediate-stage liver cancer may include:

1. Jaundice: Due to liver damage, patients may develop jaundice, characterized by yellowing of the skin and eyes, and darkened urine.

2. Abdominal discomfort or pain: Patients may experience persistent dull, aching, or distending pain in the upper right or middle upper abdomen.

3. Bleeding tendency: Such as nosebleeds, gum bleeding, and easy bruising of the skin.

4. Digestive symptoms: Such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, diarrhea, or constipation.

5. Weight loss and fatigue: Patients may experience weight loss and a persistent feeling of fatigue due to the body's inability to effectively utilize nutrients.

6. Abdominal mass: A hard and large mass may be felt in the upper right abdomen.

7. Liver function abnormalities: Patients with intermediate-stage liver cancer may exhibit abnormal liver function tests, such as elevated levels of ALT and AST enzymes.

Not all of these symptoms necessarily appear in every patient with intermediate-stage liver cancer, and these symptoms could also indicate other diseases. Therefore, if any of these symptoms occur, prompt medical attention is advised.
