The adverse effects of ibuprofen sustained-release capsules mainly include the following aspects:

1. Gastrointestinal reactions: These are the most common adverse effects, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, gastric burning sensation, or mild dyspepsia. Long-term use may cause gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding. It is recommended to take the medication after meals to reduce gastric irritation.

2. Central nervous system reactions: Some patients may experience headache, dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision, nervousness, drowsiness, and other symptoms.

3. Allergic reactions: A very small number of patients may develop skin allergic reactions such as rash, pruritus, urticaria, and in severe cases, exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, and toxic epidermal necrolysis. Additionally, severe allergic reactions may include allergic nephritis, cystitis, nephrotic syndrome, and even renal failure.

4. Other rare reactions: These include hematopoietic disorders such as anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia, as well as edema, hypertension, fluid retention, and heart failure.

If severe discomfort occurs, prompt medical attention is advised.
