The main side effects of ibuprofen sustained-release capsules include the following aspects:

1. Gastrointestinal reactions: These are the most common adverse effects, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, gastric burning sensation, or mild dyspepsia. Long-term use may cause gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding. It is recommended to take the medication after meals to reduce gastric irritation.

2. Central nervous system reactions: Some patients may experience headache, dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision, mental tension, drowsiness, and other symptoms.

3. Allergic reactions: A very small number of patients may develop skin allergic reactions such as rash, itching, and urticaria. Severe cases may develop exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, or toxic epidermal necrolysis. Additionally, serious allergic reactions such as allergic nephritis, cystitis, nephrotic syndrome, and even renal failure may occur.

4. Other rare reactions: These include hematopoietic disorders such as anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia, as well as edema, hypertension, fluid retention, and heart failure.

If any discomfort occurs, seek medical attention promptly.
