How come there is a small white lump on the foreskin?
Recently, I noticed a small white lump on my foreskin. I would like to ask, what could be the cause of a small white lump appearing on the foreskin?

The following are possible causes of a white small bump on the foreskin:
1. Pearly penile papules: This is a very common and harmless condition, characterized by small, white granular bumps, usually located on the inner side of the foreskin or near the coronal sulcus of the penis. They are actually openings of the sebaceous glands and many men may have them.
2. Folliculitis: When hair follicles become infected, they may develop into red or white bumps, typically caused by bacterial infection.
3. Genital warts: These can also appear as small white bumps. This is a sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, requiring prompt medical attention. They appear as small, flesh-colored or gray warty growths, which may sometimes appear white.
4. Balanoposthitis: Inflammation of the foreskin may lead to redness, swelling, and small white secretions or spots. This may be caused by poor hygiene, fungal infection, or other skin conditions.
5. Epidermoid cysts (sebaceous cysts): These are small collections of fat beneath the skin, usually harmless, but may require removal by a physician.
If you have any concerns, it is recommended to seek medical advice promptly.
