Methods for Removing Stretch Marks
After becoming pregnant, I developed stretch marks, which troubled me a lot. I would like to know what methods are available to remove stretch marks.

Stretch marks are caused by the rupture of elastic fibers and collagen protein fibers under the epidermis due to rapid skin expansion in areas such as the abdomen and breasts, resulting in red or purple streaks that may later turn silvery white. Methods for eliminating stretch marks include:
1. Massage and topical application: Choose massage creams designed for removing stretch marks, such as olive oil, camellia oil, etc., and apply them to areas on the abdomen affected by stretch marks, followed by gentle massage. This promotes skin absorption of nutrients, increases skin elasticity, encourages skin regeneration, and reduces stretch marks.
2. Physical and surgical treatments: If stretch marks are severe, physical treatments such as radiofrequency therapy, laser therapy, or surgical treatments can be considered. These stimulate collagen regeneration in the skin, making it tighter and more elastic, thereby reducing the appearance of stretch marks.
3. Microneedling: By using microneedles to stimulate the skin, the skin's repair mechanisms are activated, promoting collagen production, which helps improve stretch marks.
4. Chemical peeling: Using chemical agents such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) at certain concentrations to remove the old keratin layer on the skin surface, promoting new skin growth, which can improve mild stretch marks to some extent.
5. Dietary adjustments: Increase the intake of foods rich in vitamin C and collagen, such as citrus fruits, kiwi fruit, strawberries, soy products, fish, etc., to help enhance skin elasticity and reduce the formation of stretch marks.
6. Moderate exercise: Engage in moderate aerobic activities such as walking, jogging, swimming, etc., which can enhance skin elasticity and help prevent or reduce the occurrence of stretch marks.
