Removing moles from the skin is commonly referred to as "mole excision" or "mole treatment."

A doctor will carefully examine the mole, assessing its nature (benign or malignant), location, size, and depth. If necessary, a skin biopsy might be required to determine the type of mole. Based on the mole's characteristics, the doctor will choose the most suitable treatment method. The main methods include:

1. Chemical method: Using corrosive chemical agents such as strong acids or alkalis to dissolve local tissue and achieve mole removal. However, this method may easily cause scarring and affect aesthetics.

2. Laser mole removal: Utilizing high heat from a laser to destroy cell tissue, removing or damaging pigment tissue so that pigments break down and are phagocytized by macrophages, then excreted through the lymphatic circulation. This method can accurately target moles with less likelihood of scarring, making it suitable for removing moles of varying depths.

3. Surgical excision: Suitable for large moles or moles with potential for malignancy. After local anesthesia, the mole is completely removed using a scalpel and the wound is sutured.

Attempting to remove moles at home is very dangerous and may lead to infection, scar formation, and even missing the opportunity for early detection of skin cancer. Therefore, any mole removal should be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician.
