What are the causes of a heart rate of 46 being too slow?
I have been feeling that my movements are somewhat sluggish. I had a heart rate check, and it turned out to be only 46. May I ask, what are the causes of a heart rate of 46 being too slow?

Heart rate, or the number of heartbeats per minute, typically ranges between 60 and 100 beats per minute (bpm) in healthy adults at rest. When the heart rate falls below 60 bpm, it is referred to as bradycardia. A heart rate of 46 bpm is significantly below the normal range and may be caused by various factors:
1. Physiological factors: During nighttime sleep, as both the body and the heart are in a resting state, the heart rate may gradually slow down to around 46 bpm, which is a normal physiological phenomenon.
2. Athletes or individuals with excellent physical fitness may have resting heart rates between 40 and 60 bpm due to stronger cardiac function.
3. Pathological factors: These include sinoatrial node dysfunction, atrioventricular conduction block, hypothyroidism, myocarditis, and coronary artery disease. These conditions may prevent the heart's pacemaker from functioning properly or disrupt the conduction of electrical signals in the heart, thereby reducing the heart rate.
4. Exposure to cold environments, use of medications that lower heart rate, or emotional stress may also cause a temporary decrease in heart rate.
If the heart rate remains persistently low and is accompanied by symptoms of discomfort, prompt medical attention is recommended.
