What causes pimples on both sides of the cheeks?
I've been staying up late a lot recently, but I'm wondering why I'm breaking out on both sides of my cheeks?
Causes of pimples on both sides of the cheeks include:
1. Hormonal changes: Fluctuations in hormone levels during puberty, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, or after discontinuing birth control pills may stimulate excessive sebum production, leading to clogged pores and the formation of pimples.
2. Dietary factors: High sugar and high fat foods may worsen pimple formation. Additionally, dairy products and carbohydrates have been associated with the occurrence of acne.
3. Stress: Long-term mental stress can affect the body's endocrine system, indirectly causing pimples.
4. Unhealthy lifestyle habits: Poor lifestyle choices such as insufficient sleep, high stress levels, and lack of physical activity can negatively affect skin health and increase the risk of developing pimples.
5. Improper use of cosmetics: Using cosmetics unsuitable for your skin type or frequent makeup application may lead to clogged pores, which can trigger pimples.
In response to these causes, it is recommended to maintain healthy lifestyle habits, eat a balanced diet, choose appropriate cosmetics, and seek medical advice when necessary.
