What are the symptoms of poor liver health?
Recently, I have been feeling weak and lack of energy frequently, and I'm worried it might be due to poor liver function. Could you please tell me what are the symptoms of liver problems?

The liver is a vital organ in the human body, responsible for various physiological functions such as metabolism, detoxification, and storage of nutrients. When liver function is impaired, symptoms may include:
1. Jaundice: When the liver fails to effectively process bilirubin in the blood, the skin and whites of the eyes may turn yellow, which is a common sign of liver disease.
2. Digestive system: Noticeable discomfort in the digestive system may occur, such as loss of appetite, nausea, bloating, and diarrhea. This is because the liver plays a role in the digestion of food.
3. Fatigue: Patients with liver disease often feel unusually tired, even after adequate rest.
4. Malnutrition: Poor liver function can also lead to malnutrition, manifested as weight loss, weakness, and lethargy. This occurs because the liver, as the body's largest metabolic organ, its diminished function affects the body's nutritional supply.
5. Spider angiomas and palmar erythema: These are specific skin manifestations of liver disease. Spider angiomas appear as small red spots on the skin, with surrounding small blood vessels radiating outward. Palmar erythema refers to red patches appearing on the palms.
