Generally, people with weak spleen and stomach, damp-heat constitution, diabetes, pregnant women, and those with allergic constitutions should avoid consuming Ejiao cake. As a traditional nourishing product, Ejiao cake is primarily made from Ejiao (donkey-hide gelatin), walnuts, black sesame seeds, and other ingredients, and is known for its functions of nourishing yin to relieve dryness and replenishing blood to improve complexion.

1. Weak spleen and stomach: Ejiao cake has a greasy nature and may place additional burden on the gastrointestinal system for individuals with poor digestive function or indigestion, possibly causing symptoms such as abdominal distension and diarrhea.

2. Damp-heat constitution: Individuals with damp-heat constitution already have excessive internal dampness and heat. Consuming Ejiao cake may exacerbate dampness and heat accumulation in the body. Combined with Ejiao's difficult digestibility, it may impair normal spleen and stomach function.

3. Diabetic patients: Ejiao cake contains high amounts of sugar, which may cause blood glucose fluctuations and is therefore unsuitable for diabetic patients attempting to manage their condition.

4. Pregnant women: Although Ejiao has blood-nourishing properties, its blood-activating effects may have adverse effects on pregnant women, particularly during early pregnancy, and should generally be avoided.

5. Allergic constitution: Individuals allergic to Ejiao or ingredients such as walnuts and black sesame seeds should avoid consumption to prevent possible allergic reactions.
