Dry eyes and dizziness are two common symptoms that may be caused by various factors and sometimes may be related to each other.

1. Eye strain: Prolonged use of electronic devices or reading books may cause eye fatigue and a sensation of dryness. At the same time, extended eye use may also lead to dizziness.

2. Lack of sleep: Insufficient sleep can result in dry eyes and dizziness. It is recommended to get 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

3. Cervical spondylosis: Maintaining poor posture for extended periods may damage the cervical spine, affecting blood circulation and blood supply to the eyes, thereby causing dizziness and dry eyes.

4. Dry eye syndrome: Atrophy of the lacrimal glands or insufficient tear secretion may lead to dry eye syndrome, presenting symptoms such as dry eyes and photophobia. Some patients may experience dizziness as well.

5. Systemic causes: These may include inadequate hydration, electrolyte imbalance, or autonomic nervous system dysfunction caused by long-term mental stress.

If you experience such conditions, it is recommended to first adjust your lifestyle habits, such as taking regular breaks, maintaining indoor humidity, staying hydrated, and engaging in moderate exercise. Additionally, reduce screen time and use artificial tears to alleviate symptoms of dry eyes.
