What to eat for tenosynovitis
Because I frequently engage in fine handwork, I developed tenosynovitis. What should I eat in my daily life to help with this condition?
Foods beneficial for the recovery of tendon sheath inflammation:
1. High-protein foods: such as eggs, milk, and lean meats. The high-quality protein in these foods helps promote tissue repair and enhance immune function, thus positively aiding in the recovery process. However, it is important to consume these foods in moderation to avoid excessive intake that could lead to indigestion or elevated cholesterol levels.
2. Foods rich in vitamins and minerals: Vegetables and fruits such as broccoli, apples, and oranges are rich in vitamin C and various antioxidants, which help reduce free radical damage to tissues and promote the resolution of inflammation. Additionally, minerals like calcium and magnesium found in these foods benefit bone health and help enhance joint stability.
3. Foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids: such as deep-sea fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts, which help reduce inflammation.
4. Antioxidant-rich foods: vegetables and fruits contain antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, and carotenoids, which can help alleviate inflammation and promote tissue repair. Examples include blueberries, strawberries, cherries, spinach, bell peppers, and carrots.
5. Low-sugar and whole grain foods: Avoid excessive intake of refined sugars and processed foods. Choose whole grain bread, brown rice, and similar options to maintain stable blood sugar levels and reduce inflammation.
