What is myositis?
I have been feeling unwell lately, especially in my joints and muscles. I heard it might be myositis, and I would like to know what this condition actually is and what symptoms it may cause.

Osteomyelitis, also known as myositis ossificans, typically refers to infections involving both the bone marrow and muscles.
Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone marrow inside the bone, usually caused by bacteria, fungi, or other pathogens. It may also result from trauma, surgery, diabetes, or other underlying conditions. Infection can reach the bone and muscles through the bloodstream, direct spread, or an open wound. Symptoms include localized redness, swelling, warmth, pain, fever, and chills. Long-term treatment with sensitive antibiotics is often required, and in some cases, surgical debridement of the infected area may be necessary.
Myositis refers to inflammation of muscle tissue, which can be caused by viral infections, autoimmune responses, drug reactions, or other factors. It mainly presents with symptoms such as muscle pain, tenderness, weakness, and movement disorders. Treatment varies depending on the underlying cause and may include antiviral therapy, immunosuppressive agents, or physical therapy.
