What Causes Insomnia
During this period, I don't know why, but I've been unable to fall asleep at night, usually falling asleep only at two or three o'clock in the morning. I've never experienced insomnia before. I'd like to ask what might be causing this condition?

Insomnia is mainly caused by the following factors:
1. Psychological factors: Excessive mental stress, anxiety, depression, excessive worry, and tension are common psychological causes of insomnia. These emotional states can disrupt the normal sleep cycle, making it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep.
2. Physiological factors: Changes in physiological conditions such as age, gender, hunger, overeating, and fatigue may also affect sleep. For example, older adults are more prone to insomnia due to a decline in physiological function.
3. Environmental factors: Sudden changes in the sleep environment, bright lights, noise, excessively high or low room temperature, and poor air quality can all affect sleep quality.
4. Lifestyle habits: Irregular sleep schedules, excessive use of electronic devices before bedtime, consumption of caffeinated beverages, smoking, and alcohol consumption are不良 lifestyle habits that may lead to insomnia.
5. Medical conditions: Conditions such as depression, anxiety disorder, neurasthenia, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and respiratory diseases may be accompanied by insomnia symptoms. Additionally, insomnia can also be a side effect of certain medications.
If insomnia persists, it is advisable to seek medical attention promptly.
