A trace of occult blood (1+) in children does not necessarily indicate kidney disease.

Occult blood in the urine may be caused by various factors, including but not limited to urinary tract infections, kidney stones, kidney inflammation, glomerular diseases, injuries to the urinary system, or transient phenomena following vigorous exercise.

1. Vigorous exercise, prolonged standing, and similar activities may lead to temporary微量 red blood cells in the urine, which is considered normal and typically has no clinical significance.

2. Although occult blood (1+) may be related to kidney diseases, such as glomerulonephritis or IgA nephropathy, it could also be associated with other conditions, such as urinary tract stones or polycystic kidney disease.

3. Occult blood (1+) in children is relatively mild, due to the current methods used for detecting occult blood in urine. A positive result for occult blood is not necessarily indicative of hematuria and may be influenced by other factors.

4. Occult blood (1+) alone cannot determine kidney disease; it could originate from the ureter or bladder, or involve diseases of the lower urinary tract. Kidney disease itself may also be accompanied by occult blood.
