Cervical hand numbness is usually a symptom caused by cervical spondylosis, mainly manifesting as numbness or tingling in the arms and fingers, sometimes accompanied by neck pain and stiffness. This condition typically occurs due to degenerative changes in the cervical spine, such as intervertebral disc herniation or bone spurs, which compress the nerve roots or spinal cord, affecting nerve conduction and resulting in abnormal sensations in the hands.

1. General treatment: During the acute phase, it is important to rest and protect the neck, avoiding prolonged periods of working with the head bent forward, reducing the burden on the neck muscles, and wearing a cervical collar for immobilization if necessary.

2. Medication: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics can be taken orally as directed by a physician to relieve symptoms, along with diuretics to improve spinal cord nerve edema. Neurotrophic drugs, such as mecobalamin capsules and Neurotropin, may also be effective.

3. Physical therapy: Treatments such as traction, massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, and electrotherapy can increase the intervertebral foramina and intervertebral spaces, thereby alleviating symptoms of nerve root compression.

4. Rehabilitation training: Targeted exercises for the neck and shoulders can strengthen muscles and improve cervical spine stability.

5. Surgical treatment: Patients for whom non-surgical treatments are ineffective or who have severe symptoms of nerve compression, such as hand weakness, persistent pain, or functional impairment, may need to consider surgical treatment.
