What should I do about stomach bloating and indigestion?
Recently, my digestion has not been very good. Sometimes my stomach has been gurgling after meals over the past couple of days. I would like to ask, what should I do if I have stomach bloating and poor digestion?

Here are some quick ways to relieve bloating and promote digestion:
1. Eat slowly and chew thoroughly: Chewing food carefully and eating at a slower pace can reduce the amount of air swallowed and help food digest more effectively.
2. Avoid gas-producing foods: Such as beans, onions, garlic, high-fiber vegetables, carbonated beverages, and beer, which can easily produce gas.
3. Eat smaller meals more frequently: Consuming smaller portions at regular intervals reduces the burden on the stomach and aids digestion.
4. Avoid lying down: Wait at least two hours after eating before lying down to help food digest in the stomach and reduce acid reflux.
5. Engage in light physical activity: Gentle activities like walking can stimulate intestinal motility and aid digestion, but avoid strenuous exercise.
6. Use peppermint oil: Peppermint oil helps relax the smooth muscles of the intestines and can relieve bloating. Mix a few drops of peppermint oil with a carrier oil and gently massage onto the abdomen.
If the above methods do not relieve symptoms, or if symptoms such as severe pain, vomiting, persistent nausea, or weight loss occur, seek medical attention promptly.
