Insomnia can be caused by a variety of factors, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Psychological factors: Anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional problems are common causes of insomnia. Excessive thinking, worry, and stress responses may interfere with normal sleep processes.

2. Environmental factors: Changes in the sleep environment or unfavorable conditions such as noise, bright light, extreme cold or heat may affect sleep quality and lead to insomnia.

3. Physiological factors: Physical illnesses, pain, breathing problems, digestive issues, disruptions of the circadian rhythm, and jet lag can also contribute to insomnia.

4. Lifestyle factors: Unhealthy habits such as chronic late-night stays, irregular sleep schedules, overeating, and consumption of caffeine or central nervous system stimulants may negatively affect sleep.

5. Medications and substances: Certain medications such as central nervous system stimulants and sleeping pills, as well as intake of tea, coffee, and alcohol may cause or worsen insomnia.

For insomnia issues, timely medical consultation is recommended.
