Common signs of pregnancy include:

1. Missed period: If a woman has regular menstrual cycles and her period is delayed by more than a week, it could likely be a sign of pregnancy.

2. Breast changes: During pregnancy, the breasts may begin to enlarge, and the areolas and nipples may darken in color. There may also be itching or a prickling sensation, as the body prepares for future breastfeeding.

3. Gastrointestinal symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and aversion to greasy foods are common early pregnancy symptoms that may become more noticeable during the first one to two months. However, not all pregnant women will experience these symptoms, as there is significant individual variation.

4. Mood swings and fatigue: Due to increased hormone production, pregnant women may experience unexplained crying spells, irritability, and other emotional fluctuations, along with unusual tiredness or drowsiness.

5. Frequent urination: As the uterus enlarges, pressure is placed on the bladder, leading to increased frequency of urination. Additionally, the increase in blood volume during pregnancy can further contribute to this symptom.

6. Light bleeding: Some women may experience light bleeding when the fertilized egg implants in the uterine lining. This typically occurs a few days before or around the time of the expected menstrual period.

7. Changes in appetite: Sudden cravings or aversions to certain foods may occur.

8. Mild abdominal pain or cramping may occur in early pregnancy due to uterine expansion.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is recommended to take a pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy and seek timely medical care for prenatal checkups.
