How to relieve foot swelling during pregnancy
Recently during pregnancy, I've noticed some swelling in my feet. How can I relieve this?

Foot swelling during pregnancy is a symptom experienced by many pregnant women, mainly due to hormonal changes and impaired blood circulation. Below are some methods to alleviate foot swelling during pregnancy:
1. Rest adequately: Avoid standing or sitting for prolonged periods, as this helps reduce pressure on the lower limbs and promote blood circulation. When resting, elevate your feet to facilitate blood return and reduce swelling.
2. Maintain a balanced diet: Pregnant women should adjust their diet to avoid excessive salt and sugar intake. A low-salt, low-sugar, high-protein diet with increased consumption of vegetables and fruits is recommended.
3. Wear comfortable shoes: Avoid high heels or tight-fitting shoes. Choose flat, supportive, and spacious footwear.
4. Engage in moderate exercise: Low-impact activities such as walking or prenatal yoga can improve circulation and reduce swelling.
5. Foot massage: Gently massage the feet in the direction from the toes toward the ankles to help promote lymphatic drainage and reduce swelling.
6. Maintain proper sleeping posture: Pregnant women are advised to sleep on their left side to reduce uterine pressure on the inferior vena cava and improve blood circulation.
