Baofukang Suppository is a commonly used medication for the treatment of gynecological diseases. Its main ingredients are Rhizoma Zedoariae oil and borneol, which have antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antipruritic effects. It is suitable for treating conditions such as fungal vaginitis, senile vaginitis, and cervical erosion. The usual method of administration is to place the suppository deep into the vagina before bedtime. A course of treatment typically lasts 7–14 days, with the exact duration depending on the patient's condition and the physician's guidance.
Before using the medication, patients are advised to undergo relevant examinations to confirm the appropriate indications. The bladder should be emptied and the external genitalia and hands should be thoroughly cleaned before administration.
