
What causes pain in the back of the thigh?
I have been experiencing persistent pain in the back of my thigh recently, especially after walking a lot or exercising, when the pain becomes more intense. Sometimes the pain is so severe that I dare not apply pressure or put weight on it. I'm not sure what is causing this. The pain has continued for some time without any sign of improvement. What could be causing this pain in the back of my thigh?

Pain in the front thigh area, commonly referred to as thigh muscle pain, can be caused by various factors. Below are some common causes:
1. Cold environment: Sudden temperature drops or prolonged exposure to cold environments may cause poor blood circulation in the thigh muscles, resulting in pain. Keeping warm or applying a warm towel compress usually helps relieve the symptoms.
