Disease description:

Recently, I have noticed some small red bumps appearing on both of my feet. These bumps are neither painful nor itchy, but they are more numerous on the right foot, while relatively fewer on the left foot. I am concerned this might be a sign of some kind of skin condition, and I hope to receive a professional explanation.

Small red bumps that do not cause pain or itching may be caused by various factors, including but not limited to allergic reactions, dyshidrotic eczema, urticaria, and folliculitis. Since the symptoms are asymmetrically distributed on both sides, localized irritation or specific environmental factors are more likely to be considered. However, the absence of pain or itching does not indicate that the condition is not serious; some skin diseases may not present significant discomfort in their early stages.

It is recommended that patients promptly visit the dermatology department of a reputable hospital to receive a professional examination and diagnosis by a qualified physician. Treatment should be based on the underlying cause. For example, for folliculitis, treatment may include the application of medications such as erythromycin ointment under a doctor's guidance. Additionally, patients should maintain proper foot hygiene and avoid excessive friction and pressure to promote recovery.
