Disease description:

I have noticed that my menstrual cycle has suddenly changed, with this period arriving exactly 10 days earlier than expected. However, what concerns me even more is that I have been experiencing an unusual feeling of coldness throughout my body along with the onset of menstruation, which is completely different from previous experiences. I would like to know whether this indicates that something might be wrong with my body, and what measures I should take in response.

Changes in the menstrual cycle and accompanying discomfort can be caused by various factors. Early menstruation may result from stress, changes in dietary habits, weight fluctuations, medication effects, or hormonal changes. Feeling cold throughout the body might be related to hormonal fluctuations, infection, anemia, thyroid dysfunction, or other health issues. In women, these symptoms sometimes occur simultaneously but do not necessarily indicate serious health problems. However, if these symptoms persist or are accompanied by other severe symptoms such as intense pain, heavy bleeding, or high fever, prompt medical attention is advised.

It is recommended that patients first attempt self-adjustment, including maintaining healthy lifestyle habits such as regular sleep patterns, balanced nutrition, and moderate exercise, to improve the endocrine system and blood circulation. Additionally, efforts to relieve mental stress, such as relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga, should be considered. If symptoms persist despite these adjustments, timely medical evaluation is necessary, including tests such as female hormone panel, thyroid function, complete blood count, and blood glucose levels, to determine the underlying cause.
