Osteonecrosis, also known as aseptic necrosis or bone infarction, is a bone tissue disorder that commonly occurs in areas such as the femoral head, knee, shoulder, and wrist. The primary cause of this disease is interruption of blood supply, leading to bone cell death. Osteonecrosis may not present obvious warning signs, but in its early stages, patients may experience the following symptoms:

1. Pain: Initially, pain may be intermittent or mild, but as the condition progresses, it may intensify and become a persistent dull ache or a sensation of distension. Pain may be localized deep in the groin area and may radiate to the buttocks and knees.

2. Joint stiffness: Affected joints may feel stiff, with a reduced range of motion. This may interfere with daily activities such as walking, climbing stairs, or lifting objects.

3. Swelling and warmth: In some cases, the affected area may exhibit mild swelling and feel warmer than surrounding regions.

4. Limping: If osteonecrosis affects the lower limbs, such as the femoral head, patients may develop a limp to relieve pressure on the painful area.

5. Bone deformity: If osteonecrosis progresses, it may lead to deformities in surrounding bones.

6. Emotional disturbances: Due to prolonged pain and discomfort, patients may experience anxiety, irritability, tension, and other negative emotions.

If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek medical evaluation at a hospital immediately.
