Foods that should not be consumed with carrots:

1. Avoid eating with foods high in oxalic acid: Carrots are rich in calcium, but oxalic acid can combine with calcium to form calcium oxalate, which is not easily dissolved, thus affecting calcium absorption. Foods high in oxalic acid include spinach, beets, rhubarb, etc. Long-term and large intake of oxalate-rich foods may increase the risk of kidney stones.

2. Use caution when combining with foods high in vitamin C: Carrots contain a certain amount of vitamin C, but they also contain a substance called thiocyanate. When consumed together with large amounts of vitamin C, it may increase the burden on the thyroid gland, especially for individuals with thyroid problems.

3. Not suitable to consume large amounts of iron-rich foods at the same time: The phytic acid and tannic acid in carrots may bind with iron, reducing the absorption rate of iron. Although carrots themselves are not high in iron content, consuming them together with iron-rich foods in large quantities may affect iron absorption.

In your diet, it is important to appropriately combine different types of food to provide more comprehensive nutrition. If you have any questions or discomfort, please consult a doctor promptly.
