What Should Not Be Eaten with Chocolate
I really enjoy eating chocolate, and my boyfriend often buys it for me. However, I also tend to eat a variety of other foods indiscriminately. I heard that there are many things that shouldn't be eaten with chocolate. I would like to know, what foods should not be consumed together with chocolate?

Foods that should not be consumed with chocolate:
1. Milk and dairy products: Milk contains abundant protein and calcium, while chocolate contains oxalic acid. When chocolate and milk are consumed together, oxalic acid combines with calcium to form calcium oxalate, a substance that is difficult for the body to absorb. This not only reduces the nutritional value of both the chocolate and milk but may also cause discomfort such as diarrhea.
2. Seafood: Seafood is rich in high-quality protein, and certain components in chocolate may react with the proteins, producing substances that are difficult for the body to absorb and, in some cases, potentially toxic substances that may harm health.
3. High-sugar and high-fat foods: Such as soda and bread. Consuming these foods together with chocolate can cause significant fluctuations in blood sugar levels, increasing the body's burden. Long-term consumption may lead to health problems such as obesity and diabetes.
4. Certain fruits: Such as citrus fruits and strawberries. The vitamin C present in these fruits may react with certain components in chocolate, forming indigestible substances that affect nutrient absorption.
In addition, dark chocolate is a healthier option, as it contains relatively lower levels of sugar and fat, and is richer in beneficial antioxidants.
