How to treat hand fungus
I've been getting hand fungus frequently lately. How should I treat it?

Hand fungus is a skin disease caused by a fungal infection, commonly occurring between the fingers, on the palms, and on the back of the hands. The main treatment methods include:
1. Topical medication: Apply antifungal creams such as miconazole nitrate cream or terbinafine hydrochloride cream directly to the affected areas. For hyperkeratotic-type hand fungus, a 10% acetic acid solution may be used for soaking during summer, once or twice daily for 15 minutes each time.
2. Oral medication: For patients with more severe symptoms, oral antifungal medications such as itraconazole capsules or fluconazole capsules may be prescribed. These medications offer advantages such as shorter treatment duration, convenient administration, and lower recurrence rates.
3. Maintain dryness and cleanliness: Patients should keep their hands clean and dry, avoid prolonged immersion in water, and thoroughly dry the hands after washing, especially between the fingers.
4. Boost immunity: A balanced diet, sufficient sleep, and moderate exercise can enhance the body's resistance and help prevent the occurrence and recurrence of hand fungus.
5. Seek medical advice: If topical treatments are ineffective or symptoms such as increased redness, swelling, or pain occur, prompt medical consultation is recommended, as oral antifungal medication or other treatment methods may be necessary.
