Disease description:

Since giving birth, I have noticed significant breast sagging, with the breasts now consisting of only a layer of skin. Their appearance and texture are very distressing to me. I am concerned whether this could be a sign of an underlying health issue and would like to know how to restore the shape of my breasts.

Postpartum breast sagging is a common phenomenon, mainly related to factors such as breast enlargement during pregnancy, proliferation of breast tissue, and breastfeeding. Breast sagging itself does not necessarily indicate a serious health issue, but if it is accompanied by other abnormal symptoms such as breast pain, discharge, or lumps, timely medical evaluation is necessary.

If breast sagging is caused by breastfeeding, it is recommended to try improving the condition through dietary adjustments, such as consuming more foods rich in collagen and high-quality protein to provide nutritional support to the breasts. Additionally, exercising the pectoral and back muscles can strengthen the muscular support beneath the breasts and improve breast appearance. For patients with severe breast sagging who do not respond well to nonsurgical treatments, surgical intervention under a doctor's guidance may be considered.
