Anesthesia will be administered during the surgical procedure to remove the prosthesis, so the patient generally does not feel significant pain during the surgery.

However, there may be some discomfort and mild pain after the surgery, which is a normal phenomenon. To relieve the pain, patients can take some anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medications as directed by the physician. Additionally, adequate rest should be ensured during the postoperative recovery period, with avoidance of strenuous activities. Regular follow-up visits as instructed by the doctor are necessary to ensure proper wound healing. Close attention should also be paid to the recovery of the wound; if any abnormalities occur, prompt medical attention should be sought.
